10 of Michigan's best underclassmen visit 2017 National Champions Clemson & more camps

Michigan high school football is breaking out of its shell and breaking barriers that just 10 years ago no one would have foreseen.  Organized by Belleville head coach, Jermain Crowell - Crowell along with 10 of the state's top 2019 and younger prospects headed to Clemson University for an unofficial visit on July 14th.  This weekend the group will also camp at Alabama and Georgia.

6 of the 10 players with Crowell are his players from Belleville which include; National 2019 recruits:  OT/DT Devontae Dobbs and WR/CB Julian Barnett.  Also from Belleville is 2019 DE/LB Jalen Hunt2020 CB Andre Seldon Jr.2020 WR Jalen Williams, and incoming 2021 OL/DL Damon Payne

Dobbs and Barnett hold 34 and 18 offers respectively.  Hunt holds 5 offers, Seldon has an offer from Kentucky, Williams was offered by D-II McKendree this past week, and Payne already holds 6 offers including SEC program, Georgia.

Belleville 2019 OT Devontae Dobbs is a big, strong, powerful, and fleet-footed lineman who received an offer during the trip from Clemson.  Dobbs recently competed in the nations top camp, The Opening as a sophomore earlier this month.

Belleville 2019 WR/DB Julian Barnett is an athletic freakshow who has the athleticism and skill to succeed on either side of the ball on the next level.

Belleville 2020 CB Andre Seldon Jr. is a young and currently inexperienced on the varsity level but that will change in just 2 months.  Seldon is a quick, agile, and instinctive cornerback who will finish with 3 upcoming impactful seasons.

Belleville 2019 DE/LB Jalen Hunt is a physical imposing player who moves well and finds the ball well.  Hunt's first offer was from Kentucky and since then a variety of schools have offered.

2020 WR Jalen Williams is another who will hope to serve his welcome notice this upcoming fall.  At 6'3" 180 lbs, the foundation is there for Williams to maximize his body and skill.  Williams camped and was offered by D-II program McKendree this past week.

Belleville 2021 OL/DL Damon Payne already holds 6 total offers, including a recent offer from Georgia.  Payne hasn't played a down of high school football, but from everything we have seen and heard, it's Payne has a very solid foundation which will improve.

Cass Tech 2019 RB/LB "ATH" Jaren Mangham was at LSU this week and joined along for the trip.  The explosive do-it-all playmaker holds 28 offers.  Mangham can do it all on the field as he had a huge first year at Cass Tech in 2016, but was primarily a RB.  Mangham by the time he's a senior will basically choose from any school he desires.

Detroit King 2019 DE/LB Tyrece Woods missed mostly all of his sophomore season and it has hindered his process for the most part as Kent State & Temple offered during the Spring, following Eastern Michigan.  Woods will be one of the quickest rising juniors at DE this Fall.

Walled Lake Western 2019 OT/DE Spencer Brown went from one of the most overlooked players to a breakout off-season as he earned 23 offers in 2017 already.  Brown is your prototype OT who has grown a ton to fill-up his frame.

Oak Park 2019 "ATH" Dwan Mathis has had a great week as he was offered by Michigan State on a visit during the week.  Mathis is a freak athlete who could line up at QB, WR, or DB and will figure to develop into a star in whatever role a college pursues.
