West Bloomfield QB Bryce Veasley commits to BGSU, ready to take starting QB spot

Bowling Green State landed their quarterback of the future in West Bloomfield 2018 QB Bryce Veasley.  The Lakers signal-caller committed to BGSU over 5 others, including the Falcons bitter rivals, Toledo who were the first to offer Veasley back at camp in 2016, while Bowling Green was the most recent offer in May, 2017.

Veasley nearly ran into uncertainty as his previous high school, Southfield-Lathrup closed and he wound up at West Bloomfield for his junior season.  As a junior little stopped Veasley on the field as he displayed a strong arm and good mobility.  At 6'4" 210 lbs Veasley has ideal size for the position and has many tools to fit Bowling Green's offense.

Veasley shared on what made things click with Bowling Green State, as stated they only offered a month prior to him committing, "Me going down camping there and visiting the facility set it off. Meeting the whole coaching staff and also camping and seeing how they all work together and coach was a big part of it."

Veasley described several things that he noticed that aided his decision on committing to Bowling Green State, "The team is great they seem like they all mesh well together and also the coaches I love how they are all very energetic!"

As for how Veasley will fit in once he gets on campus, Veasley added, "The team is great they seem like they all mesh well together and also the coaches I love how they are all very energetic!Well I have to come in and compete for a starting spot at QB, but the big thing is that spot is wide open and ready to be taken!"
