Romeo turf renderings released as part of $86 million bond + relocation of Romeo HS

The Romeo Bulldogs who were the Division 1 state champions in 2015 will soon be getting a new look at home.  Romeo plays their home games at Powell Middle School which is 3 miles south of their high school located on 32 mile road.

Romeo has played on grass in the past at Powell Middle School and the stadium has been nicknamed the swamp due to harsh late season conditions.

In the $86 million dollar bond that was approved outside of the turf, Romeo High School on 32 mile road will merge the middle schools together and the Romeo Engineering and Technology Center which is next to the field will receive expansions and become the new relocated Romeo High School.

Along with the new turf the following will also be added; new concessions stands, bathroom facilities and locker rooms would be installed.

It's definitely exciting times for the Romeo community as Romeo hasn't missed the playoffs since 2003 and has seen nearly 100 extra students enroll for the Fall of 2017.
