Kentucky stays hot in Michigan, as Cass Tech LB DeAndre Square commits to Kentucky

Kentucky fans worldwide will be enjoying the start of their weekend even more so as they landed a centerpiece of their future defense for the next 3-4 years.  Cass Tech 2018 LB DeAndre Square committed on Friday evening over 17 other schools and more surely would have followed over camp season if that was Square's intentions.

Square is an extremely versatile Linebacker who can cover very well and has the physical traits to standout & excel as a LB.  Square is a huge piece to Kentucky's defense and will join a top 10 in-state recruit in Oak Park 2018 OL/DL Marquan McCall this upcoming recruiting class.  Kentucky has made a huge wave in the state of Michigan as they have offered a player in each current graduating class.

For a player with as much recruiting attention such as Square, he's bound to experience a lot of success so was focused on deciding on off the field needs that he felt Kentucky provided.  Following a weekend visit in June, Square a short time later knew that Kentucky is where he wanted to be, "they just made me feel at home," said Square following his visit to Kentucky that had numerous Wildcat targets in attendance.

Square said he is being recruited as a Will LB.
