Jaylan Franklin following weekend visit, commits to Wisconsin

Gibraltar Carlson 2018 TE "ATH" Jaylan Franklin over the weekend took a visit to the University of Wisconsin where 2 other commits were in attendance, Reggie Pearson and Mike Furtney.  The experience was what Franklin who held 21 Division 1 offers was looking for as he committed on Monday to the Badgers.

Franklin's previous recruiting visit was to Wisconsin in April when they offered.  Franklin who is a stud Athlete in high school. is a phenomenal; receiver, linebacker, tight end, etc. will actually be looking at tight end for his future, "Wisconsin sees me playing TE and filling the spot of Troy Fum their starting tight end! I think I will play a lot and be a good edition to the team."

As for his future teammates, all of the other commits and recruits in attendance including Franklin were nothing, but genuine smiles during the visit.  Franklin summed up his relationship with the recruits and coaches, "I have a great bond with all the coaches and it's only growing.  I have a lot of good relationships with the recruits I've known for a long time and trained with, it feels great knowing they'll be there."

The Badgers in the past have struggled to recruit Michigan, but that has changed big-time this year as Wisconsin has 3 verbal commits.  Since 2002, Wisconsin was only able to sign 7 Michigan kids out of high school.
