Detroit Central 2020 RB James Wheeler picks up 2 offers in 2 days

Detroit Central 2020 RB/LB James Wheeler made his first real impression in high school football by 2 dominating camp performances in back-to-back days this past weekend.  Wheeler previously played for the PAL team, Detroit Spartans as a ninth grader.

Wheeler attended Northwood's satellite camp on Saturday and Wayne State's satellite on Sunday that included; Iowa State, Central Michigan, Bowling Green State, Dayton, etc.

Wheeler was offered by Northwood on Saturday and Bowling Green State on Sunday.

Wheeler is already an impressive 6'1" and 195 lbs and has the build of a RB.  Wheeler also has nice hands and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.  As a LB he'll figure to develop into a dangerous OLB role with athleticism and good size.

Besides for performing well in every drill, Wheeler recorded a 4.45 forty yard dash time to grab everyone's attention.

Wheeler is also no slouch with future educational goals as he holds a 3.8 GPA and plans to enroll in an engineering program in college.

The future is definitely bright for the young Trailblazer!
