Today the Central Michigan Chippewa's added another valuable piece to their Class of 2013 Recruiting Class. The Chippewa's were able to secure the commitment of Grand Rapids Christian's tight end / defensive end, Zach Crouch. Crouch is the 13th in-state commit to the Chippewa's in the Class of 2013 and #18 overall in the class.

First Game Started: First game started was first game of last year (South Christian).
#1 Most Memorable Game: The most memorable game was beating East Grand Rapids on their field in overtime.
Pre-game Traditions: Pre and Post-game our team says a speech called, "This I Promise."
Athlete you try building your game around: I don't try to be anyone else I just work as hard as I can and try to be the best I can be.
The D - Zone - How does it feel committing to the Central Michigan University?
Zach Crouch - "It feels good to be committed there."
The D - Zone - Did Central Michigan or Bowling Green offer you first? What went through your head after the coach informed you of the offer?
Zach Crouch - "Central Michigan offered first and I was just thinking about all of the hours of hard work that I put in, to get to that moment."
The D - Zone - What stands out the most about Central Michigan?
Zach Crouch - "I think Central's coaching staff stood out to me the most."
The D - Zone - What have you enjoyed the most while visiting the campus?
Zach Crouch - "I enjoyed their athletic facilities a lot."
The D - Zone - What do the Central Michigan coaches, like about the way you play?
Zach Crouch - "The coaches like that I can get the job done in both the passing game and running game."
The D - Zone - When Central Michigan coaches found out you committed, how was their excitement level and what did they say to you?
Zach Crouch - "They were pretty excited because they really wanted a TE in this class and they said they were happy and can't wait for me to visit again."
The D - Zone - Are you familiar with any players on the Chippewas roster?
Zach Crouch - "Kavon Frazier who played on our team last year."
The D - Zone - What's in store for your future leading up to Signing Day?
Zach Crouch - "For me to help my team get to Ford Field."
The D - Zone - Can you describe what it was like having to play East Grand Rapids, two times in three weeks?
Zach Crouch - "It was very tough they are a great team but there is no reason we should have lost to them the second time, we lost focus and got to full of our selves and they took advantage of that."
The D - Zone - If you had to circle one game in 2012 would it be week 6 vs. East Grand Rapids?
Zach Crouch - "No. It would most definitely be game two against Cincinnati Moeller."
