  27. How is it none of the L' Anse Creuse North pitchers namely Mario Creecy who has a NO HITTER!!! And sub 1.50 ERA, Daniel Clouse also a great catcher/hitter, and Ryan Cykon with 7 wins are not in any of the pitchers slots..... Oh yeah, they currently are TOP 5 and have danced in the TOP 10 all year long! Some of you are delusional.

  28. Last year LCN's pitcher Daniel Clouse out dueled AB's pitcher Anthony Misiwiecz 3-1 for the district championship and went on to win the regional against De Lasalle as well. My son has played with both, both are power pitchers. Daniels a RHP clocked in the mid 80's- 88, and Anthonys a LHP running it up there to 88 m.p.h. as well. You can't go wrong either way, but Clouse is 1-0 head to head.

  30. I've seen the kid Mario Creecy a handful of times for LCN and in the summer for Bergman's Grosse Pointe Redbirds. For my taste hes one of the most underrated complete pitchers/players in the state. His pitching exploits are always in the Macomb Daily and his infield defense is second to none along with batting I hear around the low 400's from BOTH sides of the plate!!! Complete player like I said.

  48. Mario Creecy is a BEAST on the mound. When he played/pitched for Anchor Bay Angels fed team they made it all the way to the World Series in Brooklyn. Anthony Misiwiecz was 2nd in the rotation and Nick Black didn't even start. Not hating, just stating facts. Since then Creecy has racked up impressive win after win including Federational State Title for Grosse Pointe Red Birds at Michigan State last year.No Hitter in the semi and the game winning triple in the Championship Game. Chew on the that.

One you steal off the pitcher, not the catcher and two Steve Bercel of LCN a pretty good hitter with good base running speed and instincts stole off Nick Black when they BEAT Anchor Bay earlier this year and eliminated them last year in DISTRICTS!   60. First off Mario Creecy went 1 for 3 (single) in the 7th inning. Two 1 game does not a player make or brake. Three just because you slurp Nick Black with U. of Michigan who are garbage and finished last in the BIG TEN!.!.! a freaking embarassment does a great catcher make. If Black is as good as you slurp him he'll never get to U. of M. Give me Creecy and Misiewicz all day, everyday. A power righty/lefty mix with the know how of how to pitch. From watching them Saturday there still very good friends from their fed days together. You know when Nick RODE THE BENCH!!!

  61. I like how all these people have LCN doing so well and all they talk about is how their pitchers are so great and they hit the ball so well. They are no longer in the playoffs and lost to a down Dakota team who will most likely lose to de la salle.

  64. The last comment is very true. I played against lcn this season with clouse pitching against us. He threw low 80's at best. Very average pitcher and we hit him well. They brought in cykon after him and he is average too. Mario is the same. They are decent players and hit the ball well but aren't as good as everyone is saying. I'm not trying to rip on them, just saying my honest opinion. I'm not sure about cykon but I know that clouse and Mario are juniors and if they keep getting better there is no doubt that they should be on this list next year but they must improve for that to happen. I wish the best to all of them in the future.

  65. My team played nick black earlier in the year with the lefty misiewicz pitching. He is a good hitter but we stole off him a couple of times. I don't understand how anyone can pick him over fettus, who is going to Kentucky and will most likely get drafted.

  66. Daniel Clouse is a better catcher/hitter than Black, but that's not to say he isn't good cause he is..... just not better than Clouse.

  69. Misiwiecz ended up like 9-4 this year. Had around 130 strikeouts with a No Hitter against the 2nd ranked team in Division 3 - Bishop Foley, enough said. Black ended up hitting like .540 or something like that with a ton of doubles and like 50 rbis. And I dont think Clouse or Black is better than Fettus. Misiwiecz is undoubtedly better than any of the other pitchers in Macomb County though.

  70. That was not definetive, you just have the A.B.'s kids stats. That's what the earlier bloggers were saying about nut hugging & slurping. The Creecy kid also had a no-hitter against Cousino it was in our Macomb Daily. He also averages about 8-10 strikeouts a game just like Misiwiecz. The only real separation if you want to call it that and I know the way you just slurp their nuts, will is that Creecy was like 5-1 because LCN has a deeper rotation than A.B. didnt pitch as many games (period) Clouse batted around .450 with 5 or 6 bombs and a gang of ribees also. Definetive means both sides of the argument while pointing out extreme differences. Add this with your post and you see there are no huge differences, except on my end no nut hugging or slurping, just pointing out close realities that all (4) are very good players.

  71. Cam Gibson, Brett Impemba, Mario Creecy, and Daniel Clouse are all Grosse Pointe Redbirds which if not the top FED organization, most definely top 3 in Mich. Bergman doesn't take average to barely good players. They smash teams and get their kids into college what else do you want. Plus I thought I seen Alex Daar and the Alluia kid from GPN, also REDBIRDS. These kids are very good players with even brighter futures.

  73. The Redbirds are nowhere near the top 3 organizations, until you have seen Underwood Orr, South Oakland A's, Michigan Dawgs, A Green, and the Rochester Yankees, you have not seen anywhere near the top 3 teams 18u teams in the state.

  74. Your'e out of your mind if you think any of those teams history, money, or ability to get their kids to college/pro-level is in the same class.That's how you judge a top notch organization. Theres a few orgs that have 1 or 2 of these abilities but even less with all 3, and only the Redbirds at a very high level.
